Delta Force - Black Hawk Down release is now scheduled for November 19th, 2002 in the US.
Calabasas, Ca — 10/3/2002 – Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. today announced that the release of the eagerly awaited PC title Delta Force - Black Hawk Down has been pushed back a month. The release is now scheduled for November 19th, 2002 in the US.
“One of the main deciding factors for holding the title back a month was to add even more polish to certain key aspects of the game,” stated Lee Milligan, President of NovaLogic. “We wanted to place more focus on mission complexity, the improved AI system and the multiplayer co-operative mission mode.”
Set in Somalia in 1993, Delta Force – Black Hawk Down is based upon and around the Operation Restore Hope and Task Force Ranger campaigns and follows members of the elite Delta Force, U.S. Army Rangers, 10th Mountain Division and the Night Stalkers as they participate in a number of daring raids against the oppressive Somali warlords in and around Mogadishu.
Delta Force – Black Hawk Down will ship on PC CD - ROM during November 2002.
